Just got my ratings at from the PEB & VA not sure how much I'll be making

The math on this is confusing the hell out of me, info below:

TIS: 20 years 8 months (when I expect to have orders)
Rank: 03-E
DOD%: 70
VA rating: 100%
Combat related: Yes? It's for PTSD from past deployments so I think that qualifies for CRSC

I understand that I will be eligible for CRDP since I am over 20 years credible TIS and I understand that either some of the VA disability or the retirement pay will be waived since I can't make over I just can't tell how much.

Can one of you PEB gurus help me out on this?

Your PEB Proceedings (199) will indicate if the disability is combat related. There is a statement that, although your service (Army in my case) determined that it is combat related, it doesn't necessarily meet the requirements for CRSC, but my understanding is that it does 99.99% of the time.

There are folks on here far more knowledgeable than me, but my understanding is that we're eligible for both programs and, in our case, the CRSC offset will be superior covering all of our high 3 retirement (roughly 50% base pay) because it will be tax free whereas the regular CRDP offset would be taxed.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Concur if I'm correct.
 
Good to know, haven't seen my 199 yet just got a heads up from my PEBLO on the DOD rating and he sent me the VA letter
 
Since youre over 20 years AD, you will receive your full standard DOD retirement (~50% of your base pay) + VA compensation.
What do you mean some will be waived?
Hopefully your PEB considers your condition(s) as combat related which. believe will make your retirement tax free.

because the DOD rating is 70% there will be some of that waived I believe to bring my back in line with the 50%, I think that's how it works. Honestly though if it does qualify for CRSC wouldn't I rather have the VA rating waived as the retirement scale moves up a lot faster throughout the years as far as I'm aware
 
Since you're above 20 years, no matter what your DOD% comes back as, you will get your traditional retirement.
So standard high 36 retirement (50% of your base pay) + VA compensation.
CRSC is something completely different that you must apply for.
