Has anyone taken a language course that was NOT through a college/university but had it paid for by the VRE/VA/GI Bill?
 
Are you talking about DLIFLC? I took language and culture courses through that program about 6-7 years ago when it was free.
 
If you have the opportunity to take paid courses, then you should definitely take advantage of it. Because after completing the course you will get a certificate from this school.

Today it is quite easy to take additional courses since you can go online. It is important to find a good school whose certificates are valued in the job market. While studying psychology at asa college miami, I also took extra courses to get as many certificates as possible. Additional knowledge and qualifications are never superfluous.
