LDES (LEGACY) My Navy Timeline

I’m working on getting a faster date honestly it’s been almost 2 months since my paper work has been done I got all my medical records and other signatures and paper work done while I was getting my men board because they knew I would come back unfit right now I’m in contact with a nc1 at my base talked to him during the beginning of the week and said he would get back to me by next week and I should be out in a month or less so hoping for that hopefully this gave a little bit of help

Also to get cleared by dental and medical and everything I needed for seperation only took about 3 weeks but you can honestly bang it out in less then 2

How far out after you recived your findings and took care of all the necessary tasks( Release of medical records/ Seperation physical signature etc.) did they push your leave date out to? I’m on the 4 week mark of my case being at the PEB in DC. Hopefully hearing back this week (crossing fingers.) I would like to leave as soon as possible but use my leave days for terminal along with my PDY. Just trying to get out ASAP to get my surgery and not be in chronic pain. I have already completed my JKO’s, got a signature from my school house, got all the pre requisites from Medical clinic On base and met with my student coordinator. The only remains items to do for my package to be brought up the chain of command for a date to leave are the release of medical records signature from the VA and a signature from a LT at the clinic just confirming my physical(Which i will not need to do an actual physical if they find me unfit). So basically i just need to do two things that can be done in a day. Friends going through said they recieved there date a week following submitting all the documents, but they are pushed out very far and have to work to get it moved up.
I am still waiting for an EAOS update so i can route terminal, house hunting, and job hunting. My EAOS as of now is four years from now, so they have to bring it in, in my case. Not sure if this answered your question? Let me know!

September 2019: LIMDU (first)
January 2020: MEDBOARD(LDES)
End January: MEDBOARD(LDES) complete
18 February 2020: Case submitted to PEB (informal)

1st UPDATE: Spoke with a really helpful individual yesterday over the phone, not my PEBLO of course. Anyway, at this time, they are now reviewing my case. The person I spoke with was kind enough to give me a rough estimate when I would hear back with either an UNFIT or FIT decision... He said within a month. However, could be sooner, he didn't want to give a short period of time, and me be upset after it passed with still no word. I completely understand that... Second thought though... I should've just went with IDES at this point. Nuts. Anyway, you all going through similar situations.. I hope you all are taking it easy, and one day at a time. This process have proven to be a very trying one. Take care everyone.

2nd UPDATE: Another update in regards to my case. 2/3 have reviewed my case and have made a FIT/UNFIT determination... however since this is an LDES case I've been told they cannot see what the first two individuals have decided. As of now it is on the Presiding Officers desk, and awaiting the final decision. 21MAY2020
Additionally, I have posted this somewhere else I believe.. anyway I was MEDBOARDED for Dysthymic Disorder and GA (personal details that reside within the two, are pretty extreme). You all take care.

3rd Update: Still on the Presiding Officer... 8MAY2020

4th UPDATE: 9JUN2020, Presiding Officer has made final decision which is... UNFIT determination, 50% DOD rating, 3YRS TDRL. Driving down to Pendleton tomorrow morning to sign all paper work and accept findings tomorrow morning... because i'd rather do things in person, also i'm able to ask all questions that i may have. Any of you out there going through this situation... remember it's a trying one, and keep your heads up. I know i have had such a rough time internally dealing with all of this, I've been away from my wife and children, and have leaned very hard on the friends.. life long friends that you find while on active duty, to get me through this. It has not been easy by any means. I've even made contacts from the PEB forum we all are apart of. Thank you for this web page. It has been one of my few outlets. Anyone who needs someone to talk to, or just PM back and forth... do not hesitate to get ahold of me. I plan to still be an active member to help those in need.

NOTE: So now i have been found UNFIT.. it should take anywhere from 15-30 days for an update to occur in NSIPS to change my EAOS. Once that happens, i can go ahead and work to route terminal leave, house hunting and job hunting. I say this incase anyone is wondering what happens now. Take care all.
So it took a little over 4 months to get your results? Im still waiting on mine but i went the ides route, everything was submitted may 29, told turne around could range from 45-60 days. Just hoping to hear from them soon, because i am so ready to go. Did they call or email you to let you know your findings?

Roughly that amount. I have had buddies gone through at the same time and got their findings back as early as two weeks

Wow! and if you could, do you know what this possibly could mean? Been waiting for results, just hope I hear something this month.
