I currently have almost 60 days of accrued leave. My case is currently at the PDA. I was told by my commander that anything over 60 days will be hard to approve for me to take. From my understanding, PDA can determine your final day based on your situation but not past 90 days. I want to take my PTDY along with all of my leave but that will take me to about 75 days of leave. Who determines the approval of leave? I would like to take it all and not sell anything back if possible.

You may experience that leadership has a lot of influence on how close guidance is followed.
Transition might give you your last day in the army and you won't have enough time to take all of your leave .. I have over 70 and they told me august 22nd was my last day and they said I could only take 64 days of leave .. it was pretty easy to get it signed off on my commander hand signed it and walked it down the thr bn commander for approval then went to s1 for the control number
