MEB Copies

I was MEB out of the Air Force now the VA is saying they want a copy of it to put in my decide my rating through the VA. Does anyone know how to get a copy of your MEB?
 
I got out in 2001, I have checked with the St. Louis hall of recorde and McGuire AFB where i was released from, no one seems to have the MEB eval. I dont know where else to turn. I have also contacted Randolph AFB but I havent heard anything back from them yet.
 
Make the VA look for all of your PDES paperwork and make them redo your exam's. they have a duty to assist.

BTW- How the heck can you not have all your paper work if you went through the system?
 
Easier said then done. VA is making me find the paperwork and the reason all the paperwork is not there is bc I got out before ARM was launched so therefore all my paperwork is being handled the old fashion by hand and it doesnt seem that everything has made it.

Do you have any of your medical records. If you have all of your medical records other than MEB summaries, then I would think you should be able to file any claim with the VA regarding conditions occurred or aggravated while in service.
