MEB/IPEB question....help!

My package was signed and sent on July 14th and was received on July 15th 2014 according my plebo. She said it will take couple weeks max to find out if I'm fit or unfit. Well, 22 days have past and I called my plebo (new one) and she has no answer. She only says it hasn't been put in the system yet, and it only shows it was received.

Also, I checked ebenefits.com and it says "under review" that means I've been found unfit?

You are correct in assuming that under review means they potentially recieved an unfit finding, if it moves to review of evidence, than it is almost a certainty (nothing in this world is absolute lol), your PEBLO, can tell you that you were found unfit, but generally they will not because it is not 100% gurantee'd until the MEB gets your findings back from the VA if they sent in for a claim. (if they sent in for a claim, they found you "unfit', but they want the form back with proposed ratings before they make it official").

Thank you for the answer!
One more thing to ask. When I checked on ebenefits it says for date of claim june, 2nd 2014 and for type says "compensation"....so did they find me unfit before my plebo sent the package to AFPC?

no, the claim was officially opened upon request/scheduling of your va exams (C/P exam), they do not move forward with the claim until you are found unfit.

Ok, so I called the VA and the lady told me that they received my package, and they have all the evidence. Also, that I was found unfit in all my conditions. She said is in "under review" because it's on waiting list basically.

My plebo also mentioned before that the process should be done by October latest.

Not sure if there is a difference between AD and Reserve, but my claim was moving through the phases before my package was sent to the IPEB. I am a reservist.

Well, there you have it, you are unfit for the conditions listed as "potentially unfit" on your NARSUM. I have not kept track of recent timelines, but October seems reasonable to have your findings back and deciding if you want to fight to stay in, take what they give you, or appeal/request va recon.

It is different for the reserves, as you are allowed to carry a va rating while on reserve duty, just not receive VA pay while "activated", they will subtract the "4 days" for your monthly and the 2 week annually. I am not 100% on this process and how it all works, as reserves and guard have a host of different issues to contend with up to and including if your serving in an ART capacity or other such roles that require military service.

Hi, sorry to hijack..
So... it is ALMOST safe to assume I have been found unfit if my ebenefits is in the "review of evidence" phase?
I finished my exams over a month ago - but haven't signed a narsum or heard from my peblo at all. Wouldn't I be signing something (saying I concur) before that determination is made?

It's official, my plebo communicated me I was found unfit and now I'm waiting for ratings from DoD and VA.

My health issue is getting worst, I have new meds and treatments given by my PCM. Does DoD and VA check your medical records again for updates? Or do they base the ratings on the documents received at the moment?

You can continue to upload records etc. as things get worse, but based on experience, no. The package they get with your records and the VA exam is all they base it on. With that said, any thing after you VA exam you get, keep and save for a VA recon or later appeals.
