MEB/PEB IDES JBLM Timeline

Did anyone else get a new Random PEBLO today. I went to check my MEB/PEB on my ako and now I got a new PEBLO

Yup.... My case manager told me "You have a new PEBLO, every case manager has their own PEBLO, and my old PEBLO was and still is the Lead PEBLO.

Is this going to make the PEB go faster, or know more about whats going on,
 
My guess is No to both of them. I haven't heard anything from my new PEBLO. I have used this sites information on how to access the PEB and see if a ruling was at least made about fitness for duty, and I have been waiting 2 months, still no word. I have no expectations as far as speed or communications.
 
Update:

Got NARSUM today....more confused and upset than ever. QTC exam relates that I have no difficulty standing and walking when clearly I use a cane and cannot stand for long periods of time....crap gets even worse when I take my stuff to have legal look at it and I get the dreaded look and get told you realize you only have one unfitting condition and the reality is you are only going to probably get 10-20% and you have a very difficult case if you want to try and get it increased to 30%...did you not go to sick call alot??? OMG are you serious if I didn't go to sick call and go to the specialty clinics I would clearly not be going through the MEB/PEB process... on a more positive note the only thing that I can find wrong with my NARSUM is that my mos is wrong but on the whole it is written to put me the hell out which is what I want anyway...disappointing is that they didn't add my other foot at this time to give me a bi lateral foot condition...may be the only thing I want to fight for and don't know that it will make a hill of beans difference if I would still be looking at severance.....will post what I have tomorrow just too upset to think straight among other things that the QTC/VA has come up with and I am worried that I am looking at a lot of 0% place holder conditions :(


Any and all advice on this stage of the game would be appreciated...got until 12 Nov to get back to PEBLO.....

The only one the Army wants to take credit for messing up is "Left Plantars Faciitis s/p surgery with scar 3-13b(5)." However the VA gets the rigt foot plantars faciitis. They are still "trying" to do things to help with pain. I recently got a brace for the left foot and I am getting custom orthotics on the 6th of Nov....funny part is that these are the only two things they haven't done....I have had everything but the kitchen sink thrown at my feet in the last 3 years and I am sure that if they thought it would do something then I am sure they would want to do that :rolleyes:. I will post what the narsum says which is well written minus the right foot and the fact that the qtc guy SUCKS after work today....

16 October 2012 awaiting physician signature on DA 3947
30 October 2012 NARSUM Review
02 November 2012 MEB Legal Review NARSUM Submitted IPR
07 November 2012 Scheduled IPR

I will update again after I get seen on the 7th of November and hopefully the 3947 has everything on it and that the things that meet retention standards can be bumped up to not....we shall see....

UPDATE:

I completed IPR and legal suggested an appeal of my MEB so now I am waiting to see my attorney next week to get this next portion done.

Sounds like the right thing to do, but that is only if they don't change anything on the NARSUM correct?
 
Well I wanted to add some things onto my 3947 and the IPR doctor wrote my ipr up letter to state that the MEB does not address all of my concerns. I am simply trying to get my right foot added as not meeting retention standards and it appears that that is going to be a fight. So legal simply suggested exercising my rights and appealing. I guess we will see what happens from there.

Update:

Meb appeal submitted to my PEBLO today. I was told this takes a couple of weeks and considering if they change my NARSUM and 3947 I am hoping to sign off on this thing before christmas and get it to the PEB to begin the hurry up and wait phase! Will update again after I get word on my appeal.

I appealed my Narsum back in may and it only took 5 days for it to get approved and get the Narsum updated...it didnt take vary long at all
 
I appealed my NARSUM on 17 OCT, and just now today got the review and signed my 3947, MEB cousel did tell me it takes about a month total, pretty accurate from my experiences so far.
 
I hope it goes quickly and even if it does take a month at least I am the squeaky wheel and I have fought this thing from day one :P
 
Got my proposed ratings from my PEBLO today, 60% army 100% va, now just waiting to sign my 199
 
First I would like to say thank you Mr. Sascha for update me. I asked my PEBLO to get copy of my unfiting memo and I was told she never getting that memo and obviously I can not get it. I want to know she is rigth or is BS.
My unfit memo signed today, How long does take to VA receive it?
I had 9 unfiting condition and also 15 other condition, when should I expect my Per. memo or VA propose rating?

Found unfit by PEB August 12

Here's where it got weird. As some may remember from some of my posts, the VA didn't even RECEIVE my packet until November 10th! Who knows what could have been going on? Anyways, I get a call the day after Thanksgiving saying that my 199 is already ready. Rated and typed in 2 weeks!

Final day in the army December 14th.
