Well I was informed on Monday the 19th That I will be getting MEB'd. I had an ACDF on my C-6/C-7 and during surgery they also found a piece of my vertebre in my spinal nerve root. I have had continued numbness down my right arm, I had a carpal tunnel release as they thought it was contributing to the numbness. MY Nerve conduction stated I had Severe carpal tunnel syndrome, with permanent nerve damage likely. I also have extreme pain in my lower back that radiates down both of my legs just past my knees. THis does not feel good as I had a cyst removal in my knee a while back and it seems it agites around that knee a bit more. Either way, I am glowing from the amount of x-rays and MRI's I have had, as well as nerve tests, injections, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and a metric ton of drugs. I have tried all sorts of pain meds some with mild sucess but the pain just does not stop. MY range of motion in my neck at PT is around 15 degrees forward flexion, 14 rear extension, and the side about 22 degrees a piece.

I plan to keep everyone updated on my timeline

15 December 2010 ACDF C-6/C-7
15 June 2011 carpal tunnel release right hand
19 September 2011 Informed by Dr. MEB will be started (officially coded in VMPF)
30 September 2011 Appointment to meet some admin guy at the hospital about MEB

If anyone has advice I appreciate it, but I have been preparing for this day for quite some time. I hurt bad, I take 4 10mg lortab a day, 3 Robaxin, 150mg of Lyrica 2x per day, 15mg mobic, nexium, and now afexer to calm my nerves as i go through this process.

I have taken skelactin, neurontin, Soma, lortab 5, and 7.5, tramadol, etc. etc etc as well as the above listed.... as i went through this painful process, also had injections, as well as a punctured erma layer from a failed injection--paralyzed for a few hours from the waist down...

Anyway
Cheers and thanks for reading/commenting

If they didn't do a nerve conduction / emg for the leg nerve issues, make sure you get that in there as well.

YEah they did one, but from what the Dr. said is it was all good, which really does not explain why the pain shoots down my legs,
