Nice! I have been waiting for this damn NARSUM at Fort Knox. its been about 6 or 7 weeks now. Glad to see the VA was pretty quixck closing your ratings. Did they say anything on how long DOD usually takes?

My PEBLO states that once the ratings are received and uploaded, that the writing phase takes "about two weeks." The variability lies in the receipt and upload part as several people are in that mix. Additionally, there is a review process before the writing phase and getting to the DA 199. Several cases on this forum range from two and up to four weeks.

My PEBLO has been right about everything so far, based off of what she said is that whatever the legal team gives you for projected ratings is what you'll get 99% of the time.

Legal told me my projected ratings were 80%DOD 100%VA.

how did you see claims online, it shows no claims on va.gov :(
I have had success calling the VA and speaking to a representative. I have read for others in this forum that if you only have an IDES claim, that often you do not "see" anything through VA.gov. I would recommend that you call the VA and inquire about your situation. 800-827-1000 and go through the appropriate prompts.

What do you mean if you only have a IDES claim? As well as i have and they say that it is in the last stage which is waiting for a decision, and they say someone is actively working it but cant tell me anything beyond that

What I meant by just having an IDES claim is that I have seen and heard many that only experience an eventual "Claim Closed" message in VA.gov. This seems to be those that are making their first claim, and many of those are Active Duty personnel. It seems as though there is not an acknowledgement that there is an active claim for many of those individuals.

My personal experience - I already had past claims (I am an Army Reservist) - so what I saw and experienced was that there were "changes" indicated on my claim through VA.gov, but no specific information on what those changes were. Later I received a "claim closed" message on the same claim, which was my indication that the VA made a rating decision.

Hope that helps, sorry if I caused any confusion for you.
