I feel comfortable writing out a timeline at this point. Single unfitting condition, but overall claim had 17 line items:

July 30: PCM forwarded to MEB FORAC
Aug 1: First contact for intake paperwork from PEBLO
Aug 5: Returned intake paperwork to PEBLO
Aug 7: First Appt. w/ PEBLO
Aug 12: Returned extra PEBLO intake paperwork
Aug 14: IDES in-brief with Lawyer
Aug 15: First contact from VA, returned 526EZ
Aug 19: VA Contractor (Optumserve) scheduled appointments
Aug 20: Individual Lawyer Appointment for total case review with 526EZ
Sep 10: Final C&P Appt
Sep 13: All DBQs uploaded to TOL
Sep 19: Brief with Lawyer over final paperwork prior to submission to PEB
Sep 24: Signed All Final Paperwork for Submission
Sep 26: Package submitted to PEB and accepted
Dec 2: PEB (Unfit findings) forwarded to VA
Dec 10: Package accepted by PERS for initiation of retirement
Dec 11: Rater assigned at the VA
Dec 19: VA Claim Closed

Spoke to my MSC, PEBLO and the 1000 VA line.

They all said they couldn't email the letter directly, but speaking with the MSC, he said I would be "happy" which is code for 100% VA. The letter sent out doesn't have anything as far as individual condition percentages, but I imagine that's coming soon with the PEB notification after QA.

Congrats on getting to claim closed! Most of us had to call the VA 1000 # multiple times to get somebody to send the proposed ratings. Even if you know your rating, I’d still call and try to get it as it will give you a little more info than just your proposed rating. Like if you’re proposed P&T for example. Just my two cents! You’re Almost there!

I'll try some more Monday, if the government doesn't shut down haha.

We do have a similar timeline. My case was close by the VA on 17 Dec and I call twice in order to get the claim letter with my proposal rating. Did your PEBLO contacted you already after your case being closed? Mine hasn’t yet.

No, he wouldn't simply because the PEB hasn't sent over the letter yet, and until the PEB sends something over, it's not official.

Kinda weird, but I got the letter emailed to me. They didn't send a letter with the proposed ratings, just an overall rating with a dollar amount. Is there a specific letter besides "Decision Letter" I need to ask for?

Well, I called to get what the rep called a "Disability Breakdown Letter" and they said it hasn't been generated yet as the findings haven't been accepted for finalization by the PEB. It seems like there's no unity in this process whatsoever haha.

Definitely no unity at all. Everyone’s process is slightly to very different. Most people find out they’re unfit way before their claim closed. For me, I knew my rating before I was actually declared unfit. They wouldn’t release my rating until my fitness determination was completed is what the VA and the PEB was saying.

You should just call back and ask for your proposed ratings. See what happens!

Somewhere else on this forum someone mentioned trying the forms option instead on the claim option on the x1000. Have you tried that to see if it yields a different result?

That's all I've called so far. At this point, I know the claim is step 5 of 5, so I've just stuck to the "letters and forms" option.

Hey @Rekmor , How did you find out if you had a rater assigned to you?

I finished all of my exams on November 18th, PEBLO just submitted my exams for review by my MEBAA, so it hasn't been sent to PEB yet.

Super curious if the VA has even started looking at my DBQs, or if the super late PEB submission is going to hinder my timeline. I'll drop my timeline below.

So, going from the original 526EZ form, how many C&P exams have been completed? If all of them are completed, then your C&Ps are starting to be processed.

Every single exam was completed as of the 18th of Nov. I don't know where to find my 526EZ, but my LIMDU Smart states that the C&P Completion was today, 06Jan. Even though the final one was on 18 Nov. I'll drop an image below of the LIMDU Smart page.

SO, that's for your MEB process, not the VA process. The C&P is separate and they had all of them as of the 18th of November and that's when they start processing.

Ahhh okay! I'll call the VA to see where they might be! Thanks! Have you recieved your PEB findings back yet?

Not yet, I'm expecting between 8JAN25 and 15JAN25 based on historical evidence.

Hey! I hope you get it soon! :)
Just got off the phone with the VA, super nice guy, he told me my case is in it's "decision phase", do you have any knowledge on this phase?

It's the generic "we have your stuff and it's in queue" response. You can ask if you have a rater assigned and that would give you a couple weeks lead time on a proposed VA %.

So, polling the group, I wonder what time the PEB findings are sent out every day haha...
