Medboard Timeline (Walter Reed)

Hey yall
Just got my findings mailed. PEB was submitted 8/26 found unfit 9/13 assigned a rating team 10/22 claim closed in the app 11/6.
Has anyone who closed recently signed yet? How long is the PEB taking to return the ratings to your PEBLO?
My VA case closed 22 October and I’m still waiting.

I just received an email from QTC Medical stating that an IMO was done for me as referred by the VA, does that mean i’m close to being done with all this? I’m sitting at around 58 days in the PEB

Hey ya’ll after your ratings were generated with the VA did ya’ll see any update on the app right away or did your results get sent electronically to the PEB and then the app updated?

Why get a WW rep? Is there a reason to talk to one going through the process? I’ve been at PEB since Sept 20, unfit Oct 1

There are a few reasons to get a wounded warrior rep, first off they offer a ton of internal benefits to being a disabled active duty member or veteran and secondly the reps there also have the same access to the VTA tracker that shows where you’re at in the process just in case you can’t reach your PEBLO or MSC which as I’m sure you’ve read in this thread happens a lot.

Look up the number for your closest Navy Wounded Warrior center. Here in Maryland it’s Walter Reed. Tell them you’re interested in checking your eligibility for the program and they’ll run your through the steps.

Hey ya'll, how long did it take the PEB to get through th QA stage once your proposed ratings were sent to them from the VA???

Once you signed your findings, and your PEBLO sends it back to PEB, Jeff said it will take about a week with him and then typically takes about a week with PERS- 954 to get your retirement date. Then do your stuff with your MILPERS. I finally got to my PEBLO to send my stuff back today after a week of signing it so hopefully it will get done quicker with All the holidays. Luckily my PEBLO said that once it’s back to PEB if you accept the findings that it’s closed on their end and it pers and military HR for the rest. Right now they are saying typical out dates from PERS are 45 to 90 days.

Has anyone been able to contact Jeff? I been in IPEB since 23SEP and was found unfit 03OCT, still no update from my PEBLO, MSC, or the VA. I really would love to know the stage I'm at so I can better plan for my pregnancy. My baby is due early March and I feel like I have no control. I've been done with my C&P exams since early August. I've been patient but with my command riding me, I'm starting to lose patience. They have put in a 6-month extension for me since my EAOS is January, they're treating me as if I'm not going to get out anytime soon.

Yes I’ve gotten ahold of Jeff just have to keep trying and varying hours.most likely you are waiting in the VA right now they are back logged so it took like 52 days to get my ratings so that was the main hold up I’d call the VA to see what’s up.

Okay, I'll keep trying his line and give them a call as well.

52 days from your unfit date would put you about November 24 so I would guess probably get your ratings the last week of November and then probably get your findings back maybe the second week or third week of December just due to the holidays and then probably get your date to separate or retire being in late January through beginning of March, based upon all of the timelines I’ve been seeing for the last year

I'm at 56 days since being found unfit currently, hopefully that means I'm close. Feels like the days are just slowly dragging by waiting for these ratings to come. I was really hoping to be home before next year but im not sure now.

I would say based on the time as I’ve seen the earliest you’re gonna get out is probably February March timeframe

It took me 65 days from being found unfit before I got my proposed ratings back. Judging by the timelines I'm probably going to get my findings back to sign by next Friday Nov 22nd and then another 30 days to get my separation date and then I should be out mid January.
