After the longest ordeal of my life I am finally medically retiring. Technically, the day already passed but I don’t feel I can rest yet since my clothing record shows I was issued 2 “marshmallow” suits when I was only issued one and turned it in. Because of my financial losses due to health issues incurred, I really can’t afford to pay this debt I never really had (my unit is in a hot climate - we don’t’ even need one marshmallow suit). We think it was just accidentally entered in by a supply sergeant that did tend to make mistakes but I didn’t catch it before and he’s gone.
My good supply sergeant that just recently left the Army insists some kind of memo came out a few years ago that said if it’s under a certain amount of debt, to just attach said memo and FLIPL and CIF will write it off due to the manpower it will cost to try to keep collecting the debt. Unfortunately, my current S4 sergeants know nothing about it and don’t know where to look and insist they’ve never seen it. The one that just got out still insists it’s out there.
Does anyone have any idea what that memo is/where to look?
Otherwise, I’m needing an extra Urban Gray marshmallow top in Medium Regular if you got it! : D (Level 7 in ECWCS)

Army Reservist, needing to turn equipment into unit. They won’t do a FLIPL unless I have some sort of proof, which could be this memo if I can find it. Any other ideas?
