8100 Migraine:
50 - With very frequent completely prostrating and prolonged attacks productive of severe economic inadaptability
30 - With characteristic prostrating attacks occurring on an average once a month over last several months
10 - With characteristic prostrating attacks averaging one in 2 months over last several months
0 - With less frequent attacks
That's extremely frustrating, I just saw those answers on 4a and 4b. I provided a Migraine log during the exam that clearly showed the amount of attacksmy personal opinion is this is a 30% migraine dbq - based on the answer in 4a & 4b.
if you have evidence in your records and provided a migraine log that shows that you have completely prostrating attacks, then maybe, just maybe, the rater may give you 50%.
You don't have to wait for the VA to screw it up. Upload to the VA a statement in support of a claim form and in it include migraine calendar and state you have more frequent attacks than what the DBQ states. Also if your neurologist can fill out the DBQ that would be great too. You can include a DBQ by your doctor. If you don't fight it now then you have to wait to the end to file a VARR and if that condition isn't unfitting you won't be able to do anything until you get out and become a veteran which can take much longer. That's extremely frustrating, I just saw those answers on 4a and 4b. Good info here. How do I do this? I have the VA app however nothing shows up. No claims or anything. I am in the MEB process and waiting on my narsum now.You don't have to wait for the VA to screw it up. Your MSC can do it for you. Things may have changed since my wife was in it. When she started IDES a claim showed up that lumped all the conditions together. So she attached it to the claim. If they changed it to where you don't have a claim you can see then it will need to be done with the help of your MSC.Good info here. How do I do this? I have the VA app however nothing shows up. Well I've been told I can't add any additional medical evidence until my ratings come back and if I want to Appeal or send any more medical evidence upYour MSC can do it for you. Not sure who or why they told you that you can't add evidence. I was in a similar boat with my Meniere's DBQ among other things. I filled out a VA Form 21-4138 ( i did two, one for each DBQ that was severely messed up) explaining the discrepancies on the DBQ and what the examiner should have remarked pointing to proof in my service treatment records. To make it easier, I attached proof/evidence to the form to make it easier to the person reading the form to locate the proof. The MSC himself uploaded it for me. I believe there is also an option called quick submit that allows you to submit things electronically in support of your claim through the VA website.Well I've been told I can't add any additional medical evidence until my ratings come back and if I want to Appeal or send any more medical evidence up
