I am currently waiting to hear from the MSC and to set up C&P appointments for my MEB. While I wait, this leaves my brain tons of time to wonder about the rating possibilities.
My FL4 has 3 DX codes listed, 8710, 8711, & 8712. Neuralgia of the upper, middle, and lower radicular group.
Note: There is a code 8713 that is not on my FL4 that is for "All radicular groups" However that is not listed for me.
I have read the Veterans Affairs Schedule for Rating Disabilities (VASRD) and each of these codes can be rated from 20-50% for “incomplete paralysis". Would that mean at a minimum I would receive a 60% Air Force Disability percentage? Or would they combine the ratings somehow?
I know the VA does their math strangely for rating percentages. I'm not sure if the AF does this as well for their ratings. Does anyone have any more insight or experience with this?
