Hey guys, first post here. Nice to see I'm not the only one with issues...
At this point, i feel like i do not know what to do anymore. The Negligence and careless attitude of my PEBLO is blowing me away.
Lets start with my first issue, they do not return my phone calls, even though they tell me they will ( the peblo and his assistant). They do not answer their phones, forcing me to usually have to drive over there, ask the secretary if i can see them, and them telling her to tell me that theyll call me later. They do not tell me when theyre going on leave, so when im calling and calling, trying to get some help, theyre not even there. You know what, i can deal with that BS.. here's what i cant deal with...
Losing my paperwork...twice. They called me months ago telling me i never turned in my commanders statement (DA7652). which i did, but i had a copy just in case.. so i turned it in to the secretary like they told me to. I was out of ink on my printer so i didnt make another copy... Well about a month ago they call me telling me i never turned it in, they dont have it and need it to send my narsum to the PEB in Texas. I told his assistant that i turned it in twice, and she said "oh don't worry about it then, i probably have it and just havent scanned it in yet." I thought all was well because they sent my narsum up that weekend anyway. I didnt find out until today that they sent it without my commanders statement, because he's calling me today telling me i never turned it in! The PEB will not process my MEB without it. Now i guess they dont have a copy, either do i, and i have to try and get my Rear-D CoC to make a new one(lol).
Another issue, i brought up to the PEBLO assistant that i needed my ETS extended about 3 months before my actual ETS. She kept saying shell start working on it... never did until about 2 weeks out from my ETS. She gets the paperwork done, i sign and she tells me it will take probably 2 months and ill most likely run into pay issues ( i didnt). But i did run into ID card issues, which i got taken care of myself through my unit. She told me there was nothing i could do. Nobody i could talk to, to get my finance issues fixed. This had me stressing out because i have three kids and bills! She told me to prepare financially for next months bills (really?! two weeks before my "last" check). I called branch and they helped me out. I believe she didnt want me asking around because she was trying to cover her own ass from getting roasted.

My appointment was for a non-board-able condition and it was on a Saturday at 1015. I went to jump in my vehicle at 0945 to go and my battery was dead. My wife had already left for work so i could not use her vehicle to jump. My neighbor did not have jumper cables. I had a small charger and it would not charge fast enough. 1000 rolls around and im realizing im not going to make the appt, even if i call a cab. I try to call QTC, but of course their phone line is not open on the weekends... so im screwed..Monday morning i call my PEBLO and explain what happened.. i get my ass chewed a little bit by the assistant and her constantly telling me my Chain of Command will find out and that i could have found a way to get there on time. I ask for a reschedule and got a very blatant "no" and that i should have figured it out.
Did i misunderstand the MEB briefing when they told me if i missed an appointment due to uncontrollable circumstances, that i would not face repercussions and i could reschedule?
There's my rant guys. Should i consult a lawyer? Should i request a different PEBLO? this has become so much of an issue its really tempting to just say screw it and get out.
