What are your thoughts on staying a little longer given this pandemic? Does this impact you at all as someone who is about to have separation orders versus someone who already had them?

I am not sure how the pandemic will impact getting orders and leaving but with the situation my family is currently in it would be best for us if i could get out as quickly as possible. I’ve tried to get answers on how this crisis will affect me but nobody seems to know. There’s a question of terminal leave and what entitlements would look like during this time.

Hi CPHwarrior, when you got your email in MyPers did you also get an email to your work email? Or do you have to check your MyPers account?

It was an email to my work email but it will also send an email to a secondary email address if you have that set up. MyPers doesn’t actually show anything when i login.

update: I will not receive my brief for probably another week, no date has been set yet. However, i was told that the IPEB recommendation was permanent retirement. Looking forward to seeing actual percentages.

This is heartening to read and also somewhat scary with the current conditions. I was officially placed into the IDES on 2 Dec, C&P Exams all Jan, and notified last week the IPEB recommended UNFIT. We seem to be in the same or similar boat in that the VA is rendering ratings for me as we speak. All webinars and whatnot the VA has put out claim they're not running a backlog of packages as they're able to do it from home. As this is uncharted territory i'll be following what your leadership says is the answer IRT being able to outprocesses and retire at this time. Congrats!

Hope you find out soon.

I'm in the process. Have had C&P exams in October 2019, didn't get the email from Mypers saying they received my case until 28Feb 20. Haven't received any other notifications yet. My PEBLO isn't helpful. Can someone tell me the best way besides va.gov or ebenefits that I could check to see where my case is by myself? I can see the case is moving through the VA just not sure what the hold up is.
