-Outprocessing brief/picked up installation clearing papers: 8FEB23
-DD214 Review: 9FEB23

Things move fast here at Bragg, I was able to clear post in one day.

Wow, that’s fantastic. Congrats!
Hoping I can get out of here quickly as well. Out of curiosity, how was CIF clearing? That’ll be the only difficulty for me with all the injuries, so I only want to do it once.

Did they let you say how many days you wanted to out process before you started your PTDY, cause hopefully they let you decide the start date, i cleared most with a memo letting me clear before orders, so im hoping as soon as my name hits the TRANSPOC list and I get order they let me start my PTDY like 2-3 days later

No you don’t get to do that. You’ll pick a final day and appointments will be set for you to pick up paperwork. You have 10 days to clear and you can’t get out earlier than the final appointment to pick up your 214 and then clear everything with finance once you have that document. So pick whichever final day works best for you within the window that you’re given and then know that they’ll let you pick up your clearing papers 10 business days prior to that final day.

So could i pick my last day as being 10 days from now? or less?
 
You cannot get less than 10.
Have you spoken with Transpoc at all yet? You might be looking at a few weeks still. It took me about 1.5 months from my decision to be out.

yes my name is on the transpoc list as of today and my orders are being cut as we speak, So im trying to figure out what days to put on my PTDY forms as well as what dates to put on my leave form...Also is it two seperate forms, or do my leave days + PTDY days add together and request that as a total leave? or are they seperate

You'll have to wait until the orders are cut to find out your NLT date and from there you can calculate your leave dates and final out.

If your NLT is, say, August 1st, subtract your total # of leave days (PTDY, Normal Accrued) and that is potentially your final out. They need a leave form signed by your commander to even begin doing any type of post clearing.
