My Timeline, Near 20 years.

So I’ve got my Formal Board tomorrow. I’m already trying to be found fit.

I’ve got the following possibilities.

1. Ruled fit and get regular retirement.
2. Ruled unfit and have enough time to get to 20 years on 10JUN2023.
3. Ruled unfit and am not given the amount of time I need. Submit for PLD.

I’m told that I should be fine, but I’m not sure what to think, what do timelines look like from here from where I’m at?

Timeline:
The process was started November 2021
VA Appointments in January 2022
Signed MEDBOARD Package Submitted: 11SEP2022
Initial Unfit finding: 02DEC2022 (was actually in October 2022, but PEBLO failed to inform me.)
Written Findings: 26JAN2023 (sign to accept or reject findings by 10FEB2023)
Signed Findings for Formal Board: 09FEB2023
Received FPEB Hearing Date: 17FEB2023
FPEB Date: 09MAR2023
 
Also forgot to mention that I currently have 43.5 days of leave on the books.
 
So today I had my Formal Hearing. It seemed to go well, but not sure which way it’s leaning, however the presiding officer recommended talking to my lawyer about PLD. Now I wait for final disposition. I was told that will be around 3 weeks.

Do I sign the final disposition or do I just receive them?

Is it correct that it’s 2 - 6 weeks after I receive my final disposition that I would get my new EAS?
 
I really hope the people on the board place themselves in your shoes before making a decision. You are so close! I am rooting for you.

I am curious to know if you will get another 15 days to sign/accept findings?

Thanks! As of today I have 3 months until my retirement. So I should be ok, but you never know.

In regards to the 15 days, that is what I’d like to know, but I doubt it.
 
So, update time, no change to my findings, still unfit at DoD 70%/ VA 100%. Interesting thing, is that I have another 15 days to elect what I am going to do next. At this point, I have the options of a PFR and/or VARR, not sure if I should do one of those, to run up the clock, or if I should accept and put in for PLD. Thoughts?

My FPEB was on Feb 10th i sent an email to my PEBLO and 2 days ago she informed that my File was sent to the VA for rating because now my hand injury was found service connected to the VA has to reevaluate the ratings.

Do you know how shortly after your board did the VA receive your file? I have yet to get a good explanation on what exactly happens after the board is completed.

My Board was on Feb 10th i had sent several emails to my PEBLO who is real slow responding to my emails on March 20th is when she responded and told that my file was sent to the VA for rating because it was denied the first time because there was no service connection now since HRC sent a memo stating that it was in the line of duty now they are working on getting me a %.

I got rated under the wrong diagnostic code causing me to only have 10% DOD. My re-evaluation should land me at 100% DoD. Does the board reach out to the VA before you get anything? How did you find out your case was being worked by the VA?

Because i asked my PEBLO and she informed me my file was sent to the VA for rating since the beginning of March so it's just a waiting game right now I'm at 70% with the VA and 20%DOD but now since HRC approved my LOD i will be over the 30% for disability retirement.

My board findings came back. They basically said submit a VARR, not our problem

anything? Also when your VARR was submitted did it show on the VA website?
