I found out that I had a medical condition that will render me unfit for duty. I am in the Navy stationed in East Coast. My file was sent down to Walter Reed for IPEB. VA Rating was conducted in Providence VA hospital. Below is my timeline.
July 30, 2015: Found out I may be unfit.
August 4: Conducted my physical evaluation at local naval hospital.
August 15: Placed on first 6mo LIMDU.
September 8: Went to VA for my general exam.
September 10: Went to VA for my audiology exam.
September 22: Files sent to PEB for fitness determination.
December 3: IPEB found me Unfit.
December 4: Records sent to VA Providence for rating determination.
December 29: Ratings came back from VA.
December 30: I signed my findings. Sent back to PEB acknowledging my findings. I didn't request a specific date of release (I was told that they will just give me 90 days).
January 25, 2016: I still haven't heard back about my release notice. Still waiting....
My question for you guys:
How long after you sign for your findings and rating do you get your release notice/release orders?
