Anyone else going through or currently being MEB for heart issues due to damage
I'm sorry to hear. I'm going through a similar situation now. Myocarditis, mental health, neuropathy, chronic pain, fatigue migraines, chest pain, gastro issues and shortness of breath with dyspnea. Just wondering, what did they MEB Board you for? They gave me pectoris angina and I'm currently waiting or IPEB results. It's been stressful advocating for myself while feeling like my body is always in a bad shape. So heart issues and mental health here. Mental health definitely deteriorated after the MI, myocarditis, pericarditis, and HF. I had been on the upswing and was fit for duty prior. Had Covid, then booster and my pre-deployment shots about 2 weeks later. Had a cough that kept lingering and worsening fatigue. Saw the dr 3x times in the next 6-7 weeks with ongoing symptoms. Prescribed cough meds the day before I went to the ER with chest/arm pain. The connection has not really been recognized by anyone officially, but seems kind of coincidental. Long Covid now with chronic pain, fatigue, neuropathy, migraines, chest pain, worsening gastro issues, and shortness of breath. I’m 35 with 17+ years in and my VA ratings estimate closed out Friday, so we will see what the PEB sends me. Likely going to need an outside attorney and request a FPEB, but cannot afford one, so we will see what what a military attorney can do and I’ll keep you updated. Also, sorry y’all are going through it.
