NARSUM appointment done...PEBLO says to make appointment again???

So, I had my NARSUM appointment with a mental health provider (not my usual provider) on 29 January 2020. At the appointment the provider told me he would be emailing my PEBLO (he seemed to recognize her name and know who she is) for a copy of my Commander's Impact Statement form. I waited a few days, and then I emailed my PEBLO to ask her if she had heard from him or sent him the form. I also said that I was interested to see what exactly he put in the NARSUM.

She said she hadn't heard from him, and she told me to make another appointment with him. That seems weird. Is that weird?

Ummm...also (and I don't know if I'm just reading too much into things or if it is real), she was super-friendly before the NARSUM appointment, and now, it seems like she's being really short with me. We have never had a meeting only emails and one quick phone call.

Thoughts?
 
I’d say from my experience your looking into it to much. Don’t worry easy to say I felt the same way you did. But I got the the next appointment and my PEBLO went through all the documents with me to make sure, there’s steps to this... they are super slow but just take it step by step and know it won’t be super fast.
 
The PEBLO has no influence in getting the provider to finish the NARSUM, so she instructed you to talk to the provider. It gets the PEBLO out of the middle of a situation in which the PEBLO has no influence.
 
From my experience I requested a copy of the NARSUM directly from Mental Health. My Dr. explained the reasoning for comments, I filled out a release of information form, and then they provided me a copy of the NARSUM. Additionally, my PEBLO offered to send me a copy via encrypted email but she first had to have approval from the Mental Health provider. She also mentioned that I could request a copy from Patient Administration/Records. Mental Health was the easiest option for me and relieved my angst once I was able to review my NARSUM. Good luck.
 
So, FINALLY, after all this time, my NARSUM is done and my PEBLO submitted my package. I did try to get it from Mental Health, but the poor Amn at the front desk there just kept having to apologize to me and resubmit my request to see or hear from the doctor (the one I saw for the NARSUM and was supposed to be writing it up). The 5th or maybe it was the 6th time I called, he said that the notes showed that the doctor had submitted the NARSUM and sent it to my PEBLO last week. I still haven't seen it, but my PEBLO said I can come see her next week and see it, because the doctor told her she could show me. I'm just happy things are moving again.
 
Does everyone will have NARSUM appointment? Does narsum includes only boarded condition statement or it includes overall health conditions?
