Need help - no idea what to do!

I am looking for advice or insight from anyone who has been in a similar situation or has experience navigating a dual-action case.

7 months ago, I was informed that both my administrative separation and Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) were finalized. My First Sergeant told me that my case had been sent to the 16th Air Force for final determination. I was told this process only takes a few weeks. However, it’s now December, and I still haven’t received any updates on my case.

I’ve reached out to various offices, including my ADC, JAG, and PEBLO, to inquire about the status, but I was met with a response saying I was circumventing my chain of command. I even reached out the WWP to see if they could help, but they said they couldn’t. Meanwhile, the only updates I receive from my First Sergeant are the same: “No updates, still at the 16th AF.” This happens almost weekly.

I’ve been in the dual-action process since 2022, and this 2.5-year ordeal has been incredibly draining. At this point, I feel completely lost and unsure of what to do next. I’m not even sure if my case is actively being worked on or if it has been delayed or misplaced. While I’ve tried to follow the proper channels, I’ve been unable to get any concrete answers. I have no idea how to plan my life around this.

Has anyone else experienced prolonged delays like this with their dual-action cases? How were you able to get updates or ensure your case was moving forward?

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
