So I have received an opportunity to do an internship with the BLM the internship is through operation warfighter. My command signed off on it reluctantly. I live approx 1.5 hrs away from base and the internship is approx 20 minutes from my home. When I took my schedule to my 1SG and he saw that I need to be there by 8am he told me I still need to be at formation. When I came up with a plan for me to come in on Mondays and then call in on the other mornings he shot it down. I am a des soldier stationed at Carson and I have 0 negative infractions against me. All I am trying to do is better myself and prepare for my transition. Is there anything I can do or someone i can talk to to try and reverse his decision so I can make this work. As the norm with him I feel like he is bashing on me because I am "broke". Any advice would be greatly appreciated
