Starting a thread to pass the time until our EAS' post.

Findings signed 11/17
As of yesterday, MOL updated my leave to 18 days.

Did you get to request an EAS when you signed your findings?

Nah, it was pretty straight forward - just signed findings. I did inquire about that, and she said I didn't. I do know, from what has been posted here, that if you email MMSR4 with a requested date, and CC your command (Bn Co. and Sgt. Major) with command approval, they will adjust it accordingly. I confirmed this when I called them.

My EAS took 2 weeks to post and MMSR-4 put the date I requested. Probably because I have so much leave saved up. Good luck!

Thanks, Han! I know it was a long road for you! Best wishes!

I called the PEB and they said they finished processing my EAS. They told me to call back tomorrow, and then they will give me my index number. Then, I can call MMSR4 and give them the index number, and they will tell me what's up from there.

Received the index number from the PEB. They said they sent it out this morning. I called MMSR4, and they said haven't received it yet, and to call back tomorrow.

When I talked to MMSR-4 they said they get index's twice a week. Mine took two weeks to post in MCTFS/MOL.

Yep! They just received my index. EAS is Jan 30. By Jan 30 I will have 23 days of leave plus 30 days PTAD. So if everything gets approved, and I'm checked out, I will be gone by next Thursday.

You get 30 days ptad? I thought it was 20

@jtsuda
It is only 20 days.

Have you heard anything back yet by the way? I've been waiting for over a month now, November has been a verryy slow month.

I assumed the 30 days was a typo. Conus based Marines get 20 days PTAD. OCONUS based Marines get 30. Or anyone separating/retiring who joined from an OCONUS location can get 30 as well.

I'm in Hawaii, so I don't know. I was told by seps and mmsr4 that it's 30

I just called to make sure. They said 30

Yup at my location TRS told us 20 but we are conus

It's always dependent upon your location. Sometimes there are other factors as well. I mean anyone separating from outside the statues should get more days. It only makes sense.

Yeah signed my findings Nov 22nd. It definitely took a while though since it was at the PEB for just over 6 months
