New EAS timelines

Does anyone have the phone number to HQ Marine Corps? It's been just over two weeks since I signed findings so I'm tryin to see if they have my index number yet

703-784-9308

I called the PEB and they said they finished processing my EAS. They told me to call back tomorrow, and then they will give me my index number. Then, I can call MMSR4 and give them the index number, and they will tell me what's up from there.
You called the PEB in Washington DC for your index number?

EAS finally posted today after 3 and a half weeks since findings were signed. February 27th with 40 days of leave on the books. Should be out December 28th

Awesome news congrats !!

Navy Signed Dec 15th. Still waiting on orders.

Submitted my VARR 6 weeks ago. Just waiting for results and my new eas. Hopefully we all hear back soon!

Question:

I have a buddy in Lejeune who just got his new date last Saturday. It's about a month away, and they (IPAC) are telling him he cannot take Terminal or PTAD because the date is too close.

What should he do? He's not a member here, so I'm asking for him.

He could call MMR4 and request them to move back the date assuming he's a Marine. I hear they are really good about it as long as the dates he's requesting fall within that 90 day window. 703-784-9308. Good luck to him!

Just have him call that number, and tell them what hes trying to do? Thanks

Yep. Just explain it to them. Everyone I've spoken with says they are really flexible with adjusting. My lawyers seen them adjust the date because a Marine told them he didn't like moving in the winter timeframe. Lol. It's not a guarantee of course but as long as he can give a good explanation for what he's trying to accomplish, they should be willing to work with him.

Right on. I'll let him know

Please let us know if he's able to adjust his date. It'll be great for future reference for others.

Just curious. What does IPAC have to do anything with other than putting his approved leave in the system by the command. Now if the command does not approve then IPAC cannot approve, but this makes no sense, IPAC doesn't have that authority unless hes trying to take leave he doesn't have or something crazy.

I honestly have no idea. He sent me a text that had his new EAS, and said he wasn't getting terminal or PTAD. I told him that was wrong, and to fight it. He replied that it wasn't his COC, but IPAC. That's when I came here to ask. I figured he'd have to call MMSR4, but wanted to make sure.

MMSR4 has nothing to do with his leave or PTAD. That is a command approved thing submitted through MOL. Don't let the idiotic personel admin center (IPAC) tell him otherwise.

Keep us updated. The personnel center doesn't have the authority to deny leave or
PTAD. That Marines' CO or OIC is who should be delegated the authority to approve leave. The PAC is just the middle man who punches the orders and launches your 11060, 214 etc.

If I was denied my leave upon getting MEDICALLY SEPARATED I would request mast to the Commander that day. I don't see many units denying that.
Something isn't adding up.

I was thinking the same thing. I told him that none of it made sense, and he's going to call the MMSR4.
