New EAS? Where? When?

Hello everyone! My husband and I have been stalking this website for the past few months waiting for his results well he finally got his results back on January 15th and he was happy with the results so he signed them off!
Now we are getting VERY impatient they told us it would take 10-15 days to get the new EAS date on the MOL website but still nothing... and it has already been 10 business days.
We are wondering where exactly on the MOL website would we see the new EAS being posted? I've tried looking around on the forum for answers but haven't found any answers, would it just appear in the messages section? Or where exactly do we look for it?
Also around how long did it take for you to get your new EAS and how long did they give you to move? I've heard they give you 2 weeks but I've also heard a month so that is also confusing. We already put our 30 day notice where we live and as we see the date very slowly approaching we are starting to worry that we wont have a place to live or put our stuff as we wait for the new EAS to be able to schedule the movers and all that...

Sorry for all the questions there is so much we are confused about and keep getting mixed answers about!
Thanks ahead of time!

From what I hear there will be no message. Just have your husband check his BIR or find himself on the Rank/MOS. BIR would be the quickest :)
Best of luck!!

I'm in the same boat rowing with you. I do not know where your file is processed from, but my PEB took place in Walter Reed. I signed for my findings December 30th. I called a Commander at PEB and spoke to him about my status. He looked up my file on his computer and told me that, even though I signed my findings December 30th, they didn't get it until January 15th. My guess is, they have some delay between PEBLO inputting your acceptance to PEB getting your acknowledgement. He also told me that because of the holiday (MLK Monday) and the snow days that resulted in closure and delay starts, they were a bit behind and that my case (not sure of others) will be closed out and sent to PERS-82 (Navy) either this week or early next week. Once it is sent out, PERS-82 takes 1-2 days to send out a message for my release and PSD will draft up my separation orders.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the reply! What you've said makes a lot of sense, I didn't even think about the snow days causing delays/closures, we are located on Camp Lejeune so I am not sure if it is the same location (I think it might be). We still haven't received our new EAS but thank you for your message it brought a little more peace to my husband and I. Keep us updated on when you receive your separation orders :)

From what I've been told, PEB will be done with my file and close out my case early next week at the latest. Once that happens, PERS-82 will finish up their thing and send out the release notice to PSD and my command (it takes them a day or two to do that). PSD will write up my orders at that point. So I'm assuming I will get my orders next week.

Also, I'm guessing your husband is in the Marines. Not sure if they follow the same protocol given that they're part of the Department of the Navy, but you should have him go talk to PSD to set up his appointment for termination. It takes 30-45 days for them to finalize everything (although I've heard they can get things quicker). I went to PSD to let them know the situation and they started my paperwork. My DD-214 and my separation orders have been prepared already and they're only waiting for the separation code from PERS-82. The reason why it may take a bit is because they need to make sure everything on DD-214 is correct. It's a pain in the arse when there are errors (needing DD-215 to supplement his DD-214).

I asked my husband and he said the process is different in the Marines, that as far as he knows he doesn't have anywhere to call. Thanks for the advice though, I wish we knew more details about where in the process of all of this his case is.

We just checked the MOL website (where we check to see if the EAS has updated) and it was last updated on the 28th of January, could this be cause of the delays? This waiting game and uncertainty is getting so old.

They are the department at HQMC which actions completed IDES cases & assigns a new EAS.

Thank you for the information I will let my husband know. He is quite stubborn when it comes to calling around to find out more information, he says he doesn't want to get anyone angry or make things more complicated for himself. I don't really understand this but I'll try to convince him to call with more info, his SSgt told him that if by Thursday we have no answers to let him know and he'll talk to some people (whatever that means.) I guess we are just waiting to get the final answer back by the end of this week and if we don't then we're gonna have to do something.

Believe it or not, I also signed my findings on Jan 15th over here in Camp Penelton. I was told to find my new EAS in 10 days, but i haven't had one posted yet. I called the number that Camp P Marine posted and the Marine I talked to informed me that they haven't received any cases in over a week from any PEBLO. I am going to call my PEBLO and see what the hold up is on his end. I hope this helps out

Tell him to blow the PEBLO up, he can at least get some answers. His EAS will probably be between 30-90 days from when he signed the findings so you probably have a little bit more time at CLJN.

Thanks for the info! He had his SSgt call (I don't know where) but they told him that he should have his new EAS on the 15th business day exactly, he said thats how long they usually take to post so for us would be either tomorrow Feb 5 or Monday Feb 8th, they also said that if his new EAS hasn't posted by then, to let his SSgt (the one who called) know and he'll start to push buttons and get stuff done. It sucks how it can't just be a clear answer ever but then again it's always a waiting game with the military. We're crossing our fingers for tomorrow or early next week, hopefully no longer than that :/

Oh I see what you're saying! Hopefully it's no more than 60 days! I know my husband is dying to leave ASAP, lol. He called his PEBLO today and he said he doesn't know much information on the new EAS but that the cases he's seen have only been maximum 15 days. They said Monday the latest, so we will see :/ I'll post on here if anything changes or we get any sort of news!

Hey chuckie89, have you received your new EAS yet?? We still haven't heard anything

Yes i did. My new EAS is March 30th. With terminal and PTAD I'll be out on Feb. 17th
OH wow thats awesome! I bet you're excited, congrats!
My husband called HQMC and they said there was a problem with his paperwork and they apparently fixed it and now we don't know how much longer it's gonna take.

I've heard of Marines going to IPAC and explaining the situation, just ask ipac if they have a new EAS date showing in their system yet. Other than that no message or anything you just have to go to MOL...left side of page click BIR and EAS will be changed in there when it finally happens.

If they fixed it and it is at MMSR-4(HQMC) then it should be updated within 2 days or so.

I really hope so, today was the 3rd day since he called and nothing yet. This is getting really annoying, our life is on pause till we get the date.
