New Update!!! Timeframe possibility?

I started my PEB process back in July, 2012. I had been on here asking questions due to my ebenefits not changing past the gathering of evidence stage. I was extremely persistant on this matter to get it resolved. I finally got ahold of a MEB JAG. They looked in IDES and found out I had already been found unfit by the PEB, and that my rating were in Providence, RI. The VA had just been waiting on another addendum from one of my doctors to clarify his wording. I got a call today saying that, the issue had been resolved and the VA was finalizing my ratings now, then they would be mailed to D.C. How long do you think I have now?

BTW: Through this whole process my ebenefits never once changed. That website is completely hit or miss. My advice, dont rely on it.

I agree that ebenefits is worthless to some. My husband's hasn't changed past the gathering evidence stage either. He found out he is unfit about 2 weeks ago. I don't know what timeline you would be looking at but he was told he should be out by mid January for sure. We're located at Fort Riley. The peblo's here that he has talked to said things are moving fast now.

I completely understand why you say that. Then again everyone he knows that's being medically discharged are getting their 199 back fast. Never hurts to hope and I have plenty of hope. But if it doesn't happen, no big deal. He'll still be receiving a paycheck so no worries.

Just got my proposed ratings 20/50. I think I might appeal to try and get to 30. Any advice?

Go for it...worse that can happen is that you stay @ 20, also they review your claim again once they finalize them after you get off terminal leave so its possible it can increase

I've mentioned this before elsewhere in the forums, but I was told directly by a VA rep and former PEBLO that the eBenefits system DOES NOT accurately track with the IDES process. It's pointless to worry about the status on eBenefits. Case in point: my eBenefits still shows "Pending Decision" with a status date of 12 October 2012. I have received & signed my 199, and my paperwork has been through the PDA and sent to the transition point.
