Hi everyone! So I love to do digging on my own... my intel habits still in full swing lol I noticed that my proposed rating has closed yesterday and the lady on the phone from the VA said my PEBLO has received my proposed rating and my PEBLO will be the one to call me. Is there a way for me to see my proposed rating without my PEBLO? My PEBLO is horrible at getting back to me and does not answer my questions. I am excited to be hopefully medically retired, would anyone have an educated guess on how soon my separation date could be?

Most of us just call the VA and ask for the letter to be emailed to us. DO NOT MENTION MEDBOARD, PEBLO, ETC! Simply state you are unable to receive your mail at this time and wanted a copy emailed to you. You may have to call a bunch of times until someone is willing to hook it up.

Thank you! I called and was dumb enough to mention my PEBLO lol. You think I could call the same day and ask?

I'll use the same thread. Is it normal for the Navy attorney to say he's "concerned" about my exams and what the NARSUM said before it was submitted to the PEB? To my understanding I could not rebuttal at this time so I signed to get it pushed along to the informal PEB stage. I'm just ready to get out.

Depends if he's concerned because he thinks you're under 30% or concerned because of how the NARSUM was worded or sent up. I'd just ask him what his concerns were and cut the anxiety and unknown out of the process as you'll have plenty of that over the next several months (I assume that because you said intel habits, which makes you a nerd with paranoia - I'm an intel nerd too). Your NARSUM you can't refute because it's a medical narrative summary... basically doctors either concurring or non-concurring with each other and some notes from a provider stand point. When your findings come in however, you will have the opportunity to appeal.
