Order?

Hello,

So, I signed my 1180 on 21 May DOD 50% TDRL and VA 80%. But today, 28 May I got something in my PRDA that said "SPECIAL ORDER........EFFECTIVE 28 JUL 2025 YOU ARE RELIEVED FROM ACTIVE DUTY"
Is this normal? I was told by my PEBLO that I would only have 14 days after my order drop for out process. Also, this does not look like any orders I got for when I PCS to different base.
My PEBLO doesn't know why my last day is far away either because I don't have that much leave for terminal anyways.
if any, is there a way for me to request an earlier date?

those are your retirement orders. mine was labelled the same in PRDA.
from the day my orders showed up, I final outed 15 days later.
how many days of leave do you currently have? you also have to factor in how many days you'll earn for june and for july. AFPC also most likely factored in up to 20 days for permissive leave if your commander authorized it.

Yes, it's normal for the orders to reflect a later date, often accounting for terminal leave or permissive TDY, even if you don't plan to use it. You can request an earlier separation date through your MPS or Transition office based on your actual leave balance and outprocessing needs.

I asked for an earlier separation date as well. What’s the odds AFPC grant me an earlier one? My current one is in September.

No, those are your actual retirement orders. Those are the one's you'll use for everything (outprocessing, etc). As your peblo said, those are the "orders you've been waited for".
Your orders will only change if your retirement date is changed since you requested an earlier retirement date. I'm not familiar with those odds, though.
