My coworker has been waiting 36 days now. It seems a month or more is pretty common these days. I would recommend being more aggressive in communicating with your PEBLO, his or her supervisor or the ombudsman.

Being aggressive with your PEBLO will do you no good. They have no bearing or influence on when your paperwork is processed. The tools they have available for them to track the progress of your packet/documentation is not much better than what is available to us. The entire process is broken. The PEBLO is every bit the Liaison Officer they are supposed to be. Please don't go down that rabbit hole thinking they can do anything for you other than get information for you. They can't affect anything in this process and will only tell you that you must "Remain Patient".

It took 41 days for the IPEB to finish my packet and send it to the VA for ratings. It's now day 27, and my packet hasn't even been assigned to a rater. I vent to my PEBLO at least once a week about how frustrating this is. Trust me... They are frustrated too. They don't like the process any more than we do, because they often get unwarranted blame for it as well.

Sorry for the rant, but your PEBLO is on your side. They are not the one's making decisions. We are only a number in a pool of many. Hopefully our numbers will be next.

I agree, PEBLOs are just another turd in the punch bowl. Most will try & give you as much good info as they can. If not, nothing you say or do to the PEBLO will make your paper work move faster. The big VA mechanism will grind & grind & spit out your paperwork when it is good & ready. The best thing for you to do is use the time to learn as much of the way the system works to get a fair shake. Info is power, & the PEBLOs can't know every sketchy trick that Agent Smith at the VA has up his sleeve.

My PEBLO is a salty old soldier and pretty much has told me his hands are tied. Likewise, I vent to him weekly and am still waiting on the IPEB. Day 23 for me. Hunting for work is at a standstill because I have no idea when this process will end. Seems like we are all lost in the uncertainty sauce.

IPEB here too. Sent March 24 but dashboard says March 28. DC PEB is crawling.

DEF MY PEBLO is the BEST and she is really frustrated with this system crap... Good Luck hopefully this orders came fast. At least already KO CIF and turn in my equipment. So as soon you guys have DA 199 signed and your % get that and a early turn in memo and should be enough while waiting on orders to turn in TA50
