For those of you who have received your findings and have separation orders… Did you have to submit a separation package to get your orders? Did you have to submit anything to your Admin to receive your separation orders?!?

Once my findings came back, I waited about 6 weeks before the local personnelist got anything about separation. I was on terminal in two weeks later.

Every case is a little different. Timelines are highly variable and many places are on reduced manning due to the current surge of Omicron. Just got of the horn with an AD member who said finance, personnel, and contracting folks are working from home mostly.

Copy sir, I’ve been waiting over 60 days (no joke), so I’m assuming something is wrong.
Call your PEBLO. Mine told me if I haven’t heard anything within 2-3 weeks to call her because it means something is messed up. They will still be able to see where it is.

I’m at the same step. I signed my results on Dec 17th. So I’ve been patient (stressed but quietly) through the holidays. I’m calling my admin people, LIMDU coordinator and PEBLO tomorrow morning to figure out where it’s at because I need to be out of my command for the sake of my mental health.

How early should we expect to get our orders back. Is admin or our peblo responsible if there is a hold up

From what I understand, after you sign the PEB findings, you should receive the NLD within 2-3 weeks. From there you fill out paperwork where you determine how much terminal and PTDY you’ll take and how much leave you’ll sell. Orders should some in quickly after that.

Fun Update: I reached out to the Base LIMDU Office and they told me to wait another two weeks before calling them again about a separation date. Why is this entire process so difficult.

Hi! I just received my new EAS, and it’s June 27th, I only have about 40 days of leave including PTDY, do you know if you can move your EAS to be sooner? I was hoping for June 1st ish

I am not sure if it is the same for the Navy but for Marines. If we are requesting a close EAS date by 30 days or less all we have to do is email our separations section and CC our SgtMaj and CO. If it is 31 or over it requires an AA form to request.

Ahh I see, thank you!! So far it’s looking like the Navy doesn’t allow it and no one in my chain knows what to do & PSD doesn’t respond. I think I’m just stuck with it, thank you for the info

Just incase anyone else looks at this thread for the Navy you can change your EAS by having your command request the new EAS date by emailing [email protected]
hope this helps anyone else later in the future! (:
