I’ve been found unfit to continue to serve. I’m one month past 19 years. I’ve gotten my Commander to sign off on Limited Assignment Status, sent the documents to my lawyer who has said he has submitted it to my AFPC Case Manager and I have signed my 1180 to accept the findings and sent it to the PEBLO. Does anyone know how long it takes to hear back on LAS approval/disapproval and if there is a way for me to track its progress? Thank you!

Just like the med board, when it gets sent off it goes into the abyss never to be seen again till you get the results. When I applied for mine it took about a month to get approved and I believe that's the timeline ODC told me. But I did talk to someone who applied in June and it took 6-7 weeks and theirs was also approved. A lot of people told me that once you hit 19 you're golden with LAS and my lawyer said she had never seen a package with someone over 19 years come back denied.I’ve been found unfit to continue to serve. Thank you so much for the information! I’m hoping and praying that’s what happens for me. The VA offered me 90% (70% Bipolar One, 40% back, and 30% migraines). I’m stable off meds since Jan. Back in charge of my office and got my TS back. In the wounded warrior program as well.

I did get approved for LAS status. Thank you for asking! I start terminal leave in 67 days and can’t wait!It’s been awhile since you posted, did you get approved?
