Hi so I filled out paperwork to not be able to arm anymore and my information was sent to DAWG around one month ago. Is there anyway for me to know what my status is? Profile currently show code 31. I have had 2 foot surgeries with screws migraines and also diagnosed with hypothyroidism which lead to rapid weight gain. I also deployed once. I've been in for 4 years Air Force. I'm kinda nervous about the whole process because I want to get the 30% for medical retirement, but I'm afraid I won't and will leave with nothing.

I'd start researching your conditions using this site. Code 37 is when a MEB has been started, you could ask your PCM for status updates.

Be prepared to claim everything that you have ever had medically. You will bet a call from the PEBLO. The PEBLO will arrange a meeting with the VA. At that meeting you will begin you VA claim. Be prepared for that meeting.
