Hi,
It's been almost two years since I submitted my application. At first, the process was fairly fast, but it's been stuck now for months. I have emailed them twice since their last list of results was posted, and their reply are very non compromising and indefinite. I get the feeling that they're waiting for this initiative to "die off" as its creator is about to leave the presidency....So, I would like to encourage everyone who's been waiting on their result to contact their Congressman / Congresswoman and / or their Representative, so they can help us speed this process.
Here is their last reply: (the first link doesn't work, but the second one does.
"Sir,
Our staff will periodically update the http://boards.law.af.mil/AF_PDBR.htm website with PDBR cases, once a final determination has been made by the Service and the case is completed. The purpose of the website is provide public record of our proceedings only, not to inform an individual of their decision, and the website cannot be used to predict when a particular case should be completed.
Also, the website is temporarily down, and POC information can be found at: http://boards.law.af.mil/index.htm (The've posted this: "The Air Force Boards Site, which includes the Physical Disability Board of Review, is currently not available due to an audit. Please bear with us while the audit is in progress"
There has been no change to your case status since our last reply, and it will likely be several more months before there is any change to your status. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience.
Very Respectfully,
Physical Disability Board of Review"
What worries me is the part where it says: "it will likely be several more months before there is any change to your status"..... This will take my application beyond the two year wait!
I have contacted my Congressman and Representative, but we need more "pressure" so they can speed up the process and to prevent this initiative from "dying off".
Here is a website where you can find your State representatives:

Respectfully!
