PEB final finally

Ok so my timeline goes like this

Injured Nov 2009
Limited Duty start Feb 2010
Surgery 1 March 2010
Surgery 2 Dec 2010
MEB started March 2011
MEB sent to PEB June 2011
IPEB findings come back Oct 6, 2011
10% DOD
80% VA
Submitted for Formal PEB Oct 17, 2011
Formal PEB date set at Dec 15, 2011
Dec 14, 2011 I met my attorney in DC and PEB came back with 40% DOD, 80% VA
accepted that and never went before the Formal Board.
Jan 2012 VA receives reconsideration.
March 14, 2012 receive final findings, 60% DOD TDRL, 90% VA.

It was a long process but well worth the wait. I would like to thank those that offered assistance or information that helped me.

I'm assuming your Navy, I miss that info under personal info. I'm glad you did well on this when so many are screwed. Good luck on your retirement.

That is a pretty big swing - from 10% DoD to 60% DoD. MEBs and PEBs are failing our wounded warriors. What drove the increase in the rating.

Does any one knows how long until they give me a new EAS, my PEB package made it back to HQMC and I'm getting medically retired. I signed it last month then I had 28 days of leave now I have 30.5, I've been calling HQMC but they are getting sick of talking to me. They don't understand, if it was them they would want to know.

I was just wondering have you seperated yet? I will sign my findings from the formal board next week (Dec 12) and for my job that I will be starting in APRIL of 2013, I wanted to kind of make sure I would be out by then. How long did it take them to change your EAS from the time you signed your findings?
