PEB Lost VA Submission

Well just to keep this short, I'm kinda pissed off right now...

A little background on the subject... I have been waiting patiently for my PEB 199 findings since 24 April 2012. The VA finished my ratings on the 24th of April and sent them to my PEBLO and VA MSC, after not hearing anything, I have grown very impatient because I am pending an Admin Sep for PRT reasons. My PEBLO has been getting the cold shoulder from the PEB, so I decided how to contact the PEB and after my search, got a very good contact at the Navy/Marine Corps PEB. I called this Colonel at the PEB and he told me they either never received my rating submission or lost them in the process. So, I am a little upset about this right now, it took me to do the hard work of finding a contact over there and for them to just now discover that my stuff lost, is just down right nonsense.

The Colonel, who was a very nice person, understood my frustrations took down my information and said he would personally work on my case and call me tomorrow with an update. I hope this is resolved very soon.

I spoke with Grace yesterday and she basically said 400 people (across the Navy & maybe even other branches) are in the same boat as us. It was an issue I believe at the Providence RI VA office. They said they mailed it off when they actually didn't and god knows where our claims are right now. You are not alone, there are many of us who's ratings "never made it" to the PEB. ITS FRUSTRATING AS HELL especially when you call the VA and they assure you its been sent and you know that thats complete bullshit. I need out of this place right now!
 
I know its crazy that this would happen... I know the VA never sent my stuff over. They did the easy job of emailing it to my PEBLO and MSC rep, but not to the most important place, the PEB.

Well at least you were found unfit and the Admin Sep shouldn't be an issue at all. I wish you the best of luck and hopefully this Colonel is able to resolve all your issues!
 
I hope so too... He didn't sound very happy when he found out it had taken this long and still no body decided to look.

You would think "SOMEBODY" is tracking soldiers days on the program and would genuinely assist and expedite cases that fall out of the norm for time frames utilizing the ETHOS and the CREED.

Instead what I'm seeing is an increased use of "Broom and Begone Teams" sweeping soldiers out the door when time frames begin running to long with total disreguard to insuring that everything is correct.

I am also seeing an increase of Warriors on TDRL having their ratings plummet at thier REEVALUATIONS.......and I don't believe this is a coincidence... I believe this is by design.

We have contractors receiving bonus's for reducing ratings...... and other contractors loosing their contracts if their rating are to high...... :(
 
Got a update today... I guess the Colonel came through, I got an email stating I will have results by Tuesday 29 May. That is they way you get something done. Sometimes when you want something done, you gotta do it yourself. Noone is looking out for you, but you.

Do you think you can give me your POC at the PEB? My ratings were complete the same week as yours and still nothing :/ I would really appreciate it.

I had to do the same thing- AF though- Had to get my commander involved and then all of a sudden the paperwork reappeared and it is supposed to be back to me by this Thursday- according to a Col there. Mine was supposedly mailed out to IPEB on 30 April, but yet the IPEB didn't "receive it until 21 May because of government mail..." Hope you get good news tomorrow!
 
My package went through Providence as well, "mailed" 30APRIL and i havent recieved anything at all either.
PEB records in DC says they havent recieved anything and neither has the PEB Chiefs at Portsmouth.
I called the VA and told them to resend it.
How do I contact Navy/Marine Corps PEB and that Colonal??
 
Hey I'm in the same situation as all of you. The VA said they sent mine 09APR. I would like the contact number too...
 
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Call 1-800-827-1000, then press 7 and 1. Choose the option for them to call you back to make it hassle free. I just did it and she faxed me my results, even though they're not back from the PEB yet!!! :D so happy!
 
Well, after getting my hopes up, NO FINDINGS TODAY... Even though I got solid word from the PEB on Friday, still NO RESULTS. Well my OIC sent the board a friendly email. So we'll see tomorrow, this has got to end.

I feel your pain...I am so TIRED of this!! Literally every day I am watching my phone and e-mail and still NOTHING...Its been exactly 30 days now since they mailed my findings...if nothing by Thursday my commander is calling them again as well...
 
I completely understand how you feel! My findings were mailed APR9!!!! And I still have no results. Plus, my PEBLO and medboards office are useless. No one has helped at all.

You are Navy, correct? I can understand that there are a lot of PEB packages at the board, but damn this is crazy... You should have received something by now. I think this is the worst part of the PEB process because everything is finished, but the final results and everday goes by so slow trying to make it to the next in hopes of getting results. It's crazy. Just have to remain as patient as possible because they will eventually come.
 
Yea I'm navy too. This is definitely crazy. Not make it worse I need another surgery, so I'm spending every day in even more pain, compromising my health because I'm waiting! Ugh! And it just makes me more mad that the people who's job it is to help (PEBLO, medboards office) are useless. I don't get it...
