I am just joining the process...a noob. I am being referred to the PEB after 17.5 years of service for PARTIAL COMPLEX SEIZURES. In looking through this site, it seems a lot of people get 20% for this. Separately, (and according to the VA), I have a hearing loss that is actually rated at higher--30% (I have two navy-issued hearing aids as a result of weapons trauma). I am not referred for this particular problem.
I want to remain in the service to get to my actual 20 year retirement, but if not, I need that 30% number...
Does anyone know what happens in this case? A non-referred issue actually rating higher than a referred issue?
