I saw in a PEB Facebook group I'm in that someone in the Navy got their results back and had initially sent their PEB up June 7th. Is anyone else seeing more recent boards being completed? Are things speeding up?
Ah I must have misunderstood or misread it. So she probably was one of the April ones we're still hearing about.Well she posted it was assigned to a board monber June 7th, but still. I'm hoping it comes back faster and faster. I need off this crazy train.
what facebook group are you in?I saw in a PEB Facebook group I'm in that someone in the Navy got their results back and had initially sent their PEB up June 7th. Is anyone else seeing more recent boards being completed? Are things speeding up?
keep an eye out on your VA.Gov, saw an open and closed claim last week on there and called my peblo and they had a projected rating for me.Been at PEB since 14 May and still waiting for results
Yeah but thats just the estimate they use for your dod rating but thats an overall rating not specifically on your referred condition.keep an eye out on your VA.Gov, saw an open and closed claim last week on there and called my peblo and they had a projected rating for me.
Correct, But for me it was important to hear the estimate because they said 100% which gets my hope up that even if the DoD doesn't rate me 30% ill have the 100 VA (hopefully) to be retired still.Yeah but thats just the estimate they use for your dod rating but thats an overall rating not specifically on your referred condition.
It's called Military Physical Evaluation Board Infowhat facebook group are you in?
The reason they dont usually gove that info out is for that exact reason, I guess some people before us got upset their rating wasnt the same as their estimate. You know how it goes, it only takes one.Correct, But for me it was important to hear the estimate because they said 100% which gets my hope up that even if the DoD doesn't rate me 30% ill have the 100 VA (hopefully) to be retired still.
See they wont tell me what status my cases is at with the peb.I got a weird message on va.gov about a case being closed as well. Checked with my IDES attorney who told me my case has been at the Reviewing Medical Officer since 27 August. My case was officially accepted by the PEB on 4 Aug. Not sure what this means but it's a step in the correct direction. I also saw something on the FA group mentioned above. It was a letter from Big Navy Medical. Stated that the PEBs are authorized to assign Two Field Grade Line Officers to each case in order to speed things up. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing because I'm not sure what the Navy considers a "Line Officer", or if those are even medically trained personnel.
I hope things start to speed up but seeing that when my package was sent up in June, they were only working on April cases and it’s been almost 4 months and they’re still working on April cases, I am starting to lose that last bit of hopeHey mine has been at the MO since the same date. And line officers are not normally trained medical personnel but they're giving them quick medical training so they can start processing packages. Still unsure about how things will work out with this in the long run but as long as my findings get back faster, it works
I hope so too, I would like to at least know by the holidays and have my new eas but I guess we will seeThey could be working the April cases through medical officer and maybe using line officers for any packages after, idk. I hope there wasn't that many packages submitted in May and June tho.
My EAS is Dec. 5th, they besta hurry up. I really don't want to have to put in an extension.I hope so too, I would like to at least know by the holidays and have my new eas but I guess we will see
