Pelvic Stress Fractures during 5th week of BCT

My daughter suffered a stress fracture on her left ischeal pubis ramus, a stress fracture in the thicker part of her pelvis and a stress reaction on her right pubis ramus during her 5th week in BCT at Fort Leonard Wood. She has been on med profile for 3 months now and although showing signs of healing it's a very slow process.

Its quite clear that her short stature played a roll in these fractures (she isn't going to get any taller) and waiting 6-12 months to heal, then start at week 2 of BCT and probably get injured again, was not very inviting to her. So about 2 weeks ago she made the decision to start the MEB process and leave the Army. :(

She's aware of the process itself, she was just wondering if anyone has suffered similar types of fractures and how their process went. How long it took and what their rating was?

Any information would be greatly apprecated.

Thanks so much, ArmyMomAZ
