PLD to EAOS?

Hello everyone. I am undergoing an IDES Med Board process now. I have done all of my VA appointments and I have an appointment with an attorney today to go over all of my paperwork. The one thing I am concerned about is that in my NMA, my command checked the box recommending Permanent Limdu until my EAOS. Is there a way I can say I don't want that or what are the chances that would actually happen? I have already made plans for when I get out to use my severance to pay off bills and start school. If I don't get that severance, then that really ruins all my plans.
 
To my understanding the NMA from your command is just information to assist the board. The fact that your command wants something has little to no bearing on your outcome. Once the process starts you will be in LIMDU until the completion of your board.
