I'm stationed in Hawaii so I think I read that my package will be sent to Providence for my ratings. Is that right? If so anyone have a recent general timeline for receiving their ratings? If not, where will my package get sent and what's the word on its timeline? My package is finally being sent on Tuesday and I'm just curious if I'll have to use this extra leave before end of Sept or if it will fall into my retirement stuff. TIA
Are you a Marine? I am. If so, ALL packages go to RI. My package was sent off on 6/26 & as of 7/10, I still don't know if fit or unfit. Was told that portion is about 10-ish working days (it may of come on Friday, but PEBLO was out). I was also told that if it does go to VA for ratings, they are taking about 30 days now, for Marines.
Jarhead, 30 days is quick! My process started in January and knowing this is the last step, I'm just really anxious. I've told my family 6 weeks to 3 months for this stage so I hope it stands true.
AF cases go to Providence for VA ratings then to Randolph of PEB process. All Department of Navy and Department of the AF go to Providence. DoD is not part of the rating process - that is all VA.
That being said, I live in the Providence RI area and the cases are flying through Providence now. A friend of mine got a decision in under 45 days on a non-ides case.
