Hello everyone SORRY FOR THE LONG POST
I am new to this forum and really trying to get some insight on my case. I currently live in Atlanta, GA.
During my time in service I was sexually assaulted and reported this situation within months I left because
I could no longer function properly mind you I was pregnant when this happened so they released me under
medical and then changed to honorable in 1993. Moving foward things seemed to get worse in 2011 I finally file a claim
after someone told me to. I filed for PTSD(MST) and knee injury. I was denied service connection in 2013 even with medical records
decided to get an attorney they worked on the case and transferred the case to another company that was more equipped to
handle my case and the Board of Appeals in D.c after 4years REMANDS MY CASE BACK TO THE REGIONAL OFFICE STATING TO SEND
ME FOR EXAMS AND TO MAKE A DECISION BASED ON THOSE EXAMS. WELL OF COURSE I WENT FOR MY C&P EXAM AND THE KNEE PORTION WAS NOT CONNECTED
OF COURSE HERE WE GO AGAIN BUT I BELIEVE THE C&PEXAM FOR MY PTSD MIGHT HAVE BEEN APPROVED IN THE EXAM
SHE NOTED TOTAL OCCUPATIONAL AND SOCIAL IMPAIRMENT FOR MDD AND PTSD ON SEPERATE FORMS DOES THIS MEANS i SHOULD BE APPROVED AND WHAT
IS THE NORMAL RATING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.SHE ALSO STATED AT THE END OF THE EXAM THAT
SHE HAS REVIEWED THE CONFLICTING MEDICAL EVIDENCE AND IT IS AT LEAST LIKELY AS NOT THAT THE CRITERIA FOR PTSD HAS BEEN MET
THE CLAIMANT'S TRAUMA INVOLVED PHYSICAL ASSAULT AND THE THREATS OF DEATH . FURTHERMORE HER SYMPTOMS INCLUDE INTRUSION
PERSISTENT AVOIDANCE NEGATIVE COGNITIONS, ALTERATIONS IN AROUSAL . THE SOURCES OF THESE SYMPTOMS IS HER MST. CLAIMANTS
HISTORY OF TREATMENT SUPPORTS THE DIAGNOSIS OF PTSD SEXUAL ASSAULT IS HIGHLY DOCUMENTED AS A SOURCE OF PTSD TRAUMA

Total occupational and social impairment is rated at 100%.
