Hello!
I'm going to try to keep this as short as possible.
My husband has PTSD and had been in treatment for several months and is taking medications. His behavioral health specialist has told us at least 6 times that this is a failing condition due to the severity. However, she has not wrote that specific word in the notes. This was suppose to be a P3 but instead they did another T3 for it that states it is a addendum to his P3 for his MEB. She said he will never be able to deploy again because of his PTSD and he is a 12B.
Yesterday my husband was suppose to sign the initial VA form that lists the referred conditions and then everything else in block 11. He refused to sign it because we have been told numerous times that PTSD would also be a referred condition but they keep telling us to just add it on later. We want it on there now though.
Is there anything we can do? Who would you talk to? I think we are dealing with a lot of miscommunication and we are not getting anywhere with our providers or meb doctor. It's been a frustrating process and not fun for a service member who has PTSD.
Thanks
