After a very long 9 months, my package was finally sent to the IPEB on 10/24/16. My Ebenefits claim closed on 11/5/16. A new one has not opened up yet. Anyone know next step or what is going on during this process? Hoping to be out by Jan 17. Thanks.

Are you in the Army? I am and mine was at the PEB for 6 days and then I got my ratings.
Air Force. They initially told me 45 days for IPEB and then another 45-60 days at the VA (The person who did my claim when this all began stated everything was going 'super' fast). I called my PEBLO today and he said, 'nope, do not have any new info on you.' I am wondering how long for second claim to open after the first moved to historical.
Sorry I thought you meant after VA got your ratings. Mine took 10 days at the informal PEB and then 96 at VA. Once VA was done the PEB findings took 6 days. My Ebenefits never opened a second claim like I read about. I got my ratings two weeks ago and still have not opened a second claim so I wouldn't rely on that too much. I would call VA to see if they got it yet and what step they are on.
@Kaishiamarie I see your ratings were at PEB for 6 days is that after VA sent your rating to them. I got off VA Chat today and they said they sent my stuff to PEB yesterday so was just wondering about time frame. Currently I am 77 days behind schedule to the IDES dashboard on AKO. Would just like to know this is stressful not knowing. Seems like they would have a better system so service members can ask and track progress instead of being left in dark.
