I was doing my VA appointments today for my PEB and the doctor that was doing the interview said that the symptoms that I am having are due to PTSD.
I went to Iraq in 08 for 7 months. The symptoms that he said were related to PTSD are Acid Reflux,Eczema (which I've seen a dermatologist for and confirmed and the VA doctor said it's hives), and IBS. He said that all three of these are due to stress.
What constitutes PTSD? Does this mean that they are going to lump all of those things together and they won't be evaluated individually? What are the percentage ranges that the VA gives you for PTSD if I am found to have it?
I am going to the PEB for a bilateral knee condition. Will they take the stuff the found today such as torn ligaments in my hips, degenerative spine, and the PTSD in to account when they do the board?
Thanks in advance
