Questions on my ratings and what happens now

Okay I have been waiting for my results for a while now due to admin errors. Anyways, I was told that my number came back 80% Army and 90% VA; some of the conditions are PTSD, Planter Fasciitis, Lower back/ Left leg pathology, and a few others. Now the questions no one at my unit seems to be able to answer is how it works from here on out.

I know I am waiting for my 199 to come back so I can get it viewed by counsel and then sign, to wait for orders. Some of the issues I have is some are telling me that I will get a check from both, where some are not clear which one will pay or what the offset will be if there is one.

I am a SSG and have been looking for jobs but trying to figure out what my pay will be from this, and the lower back and PTSD is being deemed combat, maybe the feet as well, but trying to make sure I know what the outcome will be so I can plan for my next job. I know I will be TDRL, which is fine, and I need the medical coverage so I can continue to get better. We are not in the Army to get rich and I hope this is not coming off as some of these kids in the WTU that are just chasing percent. I just cannot get a straight answer, on the scale and how it will work.

This is what I was told, what ever is higher on percent is the one I will get paid, but if the army is higher, I will still get paid from the VA with a offset from the Army. I still have to get two more documents added by the VA once I get out. I am sorry if this is not making much sense, just trying to get everything out so someone that actually knows can give me a educated guess and not a what they have heard, I have gotten plenty of those and none seem to match.

Please if you have any info that can shed some light on this let me know. Thanks
