So, today I took my best friend to the airport and dropped him off so he can fly back to the states before going to his next base (conus.)
I just realize how depressing things are going to be from here out for my Med board... Signed my NARSUM June 10, so hopefully I won't be stuck here long.
Living abroad has been fun and a rewarding experience, but I am ready to move on. I haven't seen my family in over a year, everyone I actually liked and hung out with in my shop has PCSed and now I just feel alone. I hope I am not stuck here for more than 2-4 months, but that is wishful thinking.
Has anyone else that went through a MEB find themselves in this situation? If so, how did you handle it?
