exactly, ever since i started the MEB I was face deep into research because of how big the impact will be to my future. i'll never base a decision off just from non credited sources. But this forum has helped me in pointing me toward the facts and often answered questions and cleared any confusion. I don't think ANYONE will ever know every in and out of this IDES bullshit, but this helps me in pointing me toward Regs and Policy that I wouldn't have known about otherwise.

Agreed! This site has been a great resource for me. It arms service members with information, which becomes power. It give you the tools you need to ask hard questions of those who run this system. It also empowers you to ask these questions of squad leaders, platoon sergeants, first sergeants and commanders. Don't take everything you read here as law of the land. Take it as a first step in your quest for knowledge and finding that bit of information that will help you. As a person who went through the system, I read a lot on here, but always made sure I was able to cross what was said back to a valid regulation. Don't ever attempt to do battle on anything unless you can back your claim with a regulation.
