Re evaluation?

So I found out today that every 5 years I will have a re evaluation of my conditions. I did 10 years in the Air Force and was out on the prdl. The VA rated me 90 and the dod rated me 80. So if my va rating goes down is the 80 percent going to pick up for pay or do I loose everything? Another question is will my family loose tricare if I get rated 0 for some reason. Just worried about my family and there well being. Any input as soon as possible would be great. Just wondering since I get va disability even though I was medically retired by the Air Force.

Mike you should be familiar with all of this and I'm surprised you are not. PRDL you don't get a reevaluation I don't believe that is accurate. I hardly doubt you would go from 80 to 0, seems unlikely. Maybe provide more info on specifics of your condition and people can help you out.

Well when I talked to the VA. The woman stated that in 2022 I would be re evaluated. I have hypo mania, gad, insomnia, left leg radiculopathy, dsd with disc germination in my back with lower back pain as the rating said, carpal tunnel, and a few more things. I just don't under stand. So I have 90 VA and 80 did. Does my family still get tricare for life if something like that drastically happens to 0 or does the dod 80 percent pick up for life? I have a few other conditions as well.

I was medically retired from the Air Force with my retirement id. Am I missing Something?

When Did you retire?

When Did you retire?

After active duty for 10 years 28 April was my effective date. Every day is a struggle, getting a va psych appointment is hard which I am going to have to double up with tricare to cope with getting appointments. It seems though sruff isn't getting better. I was told by 2 va people that are evaluation will be don in 2022 and didn't know what it meant since I was prdl. Is my family going to still get tri care for life or how is this going to work if my rating drops. Does the dod pick up the 80 percent or is it just on the va now?

Hmm the new rule is 3 year evaluation for TDRL but if your paperwork says PDRL im not sure. Maybe someone will come along to help you.
