Retired today... What happens next?

I finally reached my retirement date today. Background: I was medically retired from the Army (90% VA, 70% DoD). I only did 2 years of service. I went through the IDES MEB process. Now that I am retired, I have a few questions:

1. How long does it take for the VA.gov portal to update your ratings? I thought when I logged in today it would reflect everything from the MEB. I already submitted my DD-214 to VA, my attorney and the VA liaison.
2. My GI Bill benefits are showing 60% based on time in service. However, I was medically retired due to injuries caused by the Army. So, I should be entitled to 100% of the GI Bill. Anyone know how/when that will update?
3. Should I be applying for unemployment? I do not have a job lined up. My injuries have made it difficult to function day-to-day. I am hoping to go back to school soon if I can get the GI Bill sorted out.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

1. It can take 1-3 months. You will get backpay though so whenever the money shows up you will get paid back to the date your entitled. Usually there is a decent pay gap because the VA pays in the arrears.
2. It may not even be an issue. You need to wait for the VA to finalize your ratings. Once its finalized if your GI. bill isn't correct then call the VA. If you don't get traction within a month or 2 you are going to want to contact your congressperson. Especially if you are delaying eduction while waiting to get it corrected.
3. You can apply for unemployment and be approved pretty easily. I have no clue if you would actually get any compensation though. Usually there are income limits for unemployment and so you would need to look into that to see if you would benefit you and if getting VA compensation would reduce or eliminate that benefit.
4. If you can't work at all consider applying for SSDI. However, you really need to be completely unemployable. If you can talk on the phone or even do the most basic tasks then chances are you won't qualify. My wife is on SSDI because she is bedridden a lot and no employer would be able to accommodate the amount of absences she would have in any given month.
